The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the ‘Brake Fluid Level Low Service Now’ message was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal, the brake pedal went to the floorboard. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic and brake fluid was added to the brake fluid reservoir; however, the failure returned within minutes. The dealer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V236000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
