This issue is a major problem as the driver can be left stranded or if there are young children or pets in the car. The dealer has confirmed the problem and has no solution. We have tried all the lock settings to no avail. No warning signals from the car; we bought the vehicle used as a demo with 10,000km. Problems began immediately.
